About the Royal Canadian Legion
The Royal Canadian Legion has a national membership of 400,000 Legionnaire volunteers throughout Canada, USA and Europe. In addition, there are 40,000 national members of the Ladies Auxiliary. Legion branches are located in 1,600 communities in Canada as well in communities in the United States, Germany and the Netherlands. Nation-wide, the Legion contributes in excess of $335 million towards the economic impact in communities annually, to improve the quality of life for those in need.
Our Mission
Our mission is to serve veterans, which includes serving military and RCMP Members and their families, to promote remembrance, and to serve our communities and our country.

Command Staff
Chad Wagner
Chad is our Provincial Executive Director his responsibility is to assist our Provincial Executive Council in their duties throughout the year with all the many different programs and services that our organization is involved in and manage the office and staff. He is also our liaison with our National Headquarters in Ottawa to ensure that our Province is up to date on information concerning protocol, conventions, sporting programs, and any other program and service that our organization is involved in on a national scale.
Paul Valiquette
Paul started with us as a volunteer service officer, but as the demand to provide service grew, a part time position opened up. Paul served within the Canadian Armed Forces as an Army Radio Operator and an Army Signals Operator for 20 years. He served on many overseas deployments to include the Golan Heights, South West Asia and two tours in Afghanistan. As well deployed to various supporting roles within Canada.
Kimberley Douglas
Kim has been with our command office for a few years now. She originally was our Finance Officer. Both her and her husband are Veterans. She brings a wealth of compassion and knowledge to our office. After about a year and a half hiatus, she came back to our office to fill one of our Service Officer roles.

Tara Brown
Tara is our Administrative Assistant. When you call the office, she is the first person you will speak to. She will either answer your question, or direct you to someone that can. She is responsible for ensuring that our Branches receive all the information that they require on all of our different programs and events throughout the year. She is also responsible for looking after Branch submissions to the Legion Magazine in Ottawa. If you have anything you would like to see added, contact Tara.
